Store Window Decorating Contest: Christmas 2009

Each season, major festival and holiday, the DMRBIA promotes retail businesses to decorate their windows and displays in theme of the event.

Decorate for the Season! Get your windows into the spirit ... and attract attention to your business!

Have you seen all the beautiful Christmas windows Downtown Maple Ridge yet? Many people did and voted for their favorite Christmas display.

The following businesses each won $50 at their favorite Downtown store of choice, selected by “community vote”:

• Dreamscapes Gift Gallery on 224th – Eric selected a $50 Gift Certificate from Langley Farm Market
• Lotus & Lemongrass on Dewdney Trunk Road – Matt selected a $50 gift certificate from Outer Limits

By Lucky draw the Community “voter” was Janay, who selected a $50 Gift Certificate from her favorite Downtown Hair Salon Stylistix.

Park your car, walk around Downtown and see for yourself! While you’re strolling around Downtown, check out the Christmas Trees in Memorial Peace Park! They look so beautiful, especially at night……..still time to vote (until Dec. 21)for your favorite tree; ballot boxes at the Leisure Centre, The Act and Decadence…..you could win $50, just for casting your vote!
