Downtown Maple Ridge BIA

In partnership with the Canada Day Festival Committee, the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association  encouraged all downtown businesses to participate in a window display contest for Canada Day. 

In partnership with the Canada Day Festival Committee, the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association encouraged all downtown businesses to participate in a window display contest for Canada Day.

Approximately 100 businesses all over downtown participated and decorated their windows with red and white articles including Canadian flags provided by the DMRBIA. There were so many fantastic windows that the judges selected four winning businesses rather than three!

Four businesses were awarded $50 gift certificates from a Downtown Maple Ridge business of their choice. An award ceremony took place on the Bandstand during the Canada Day celebrations and each business was able to talk about their business for a few minutes.

Christine DiGiamberardine, Chair of the Canada Day Committee, also chaired the judging Committee.

It was a very difficult decision for the judges, but the four winners selected were:

Maple Ridge School of Esthetics (22464 Lougheed Hwy) - $50 to Bella Vita Restaurant

The Stag Barbershop (11893 224^th St) - $50 to Lotus & Lemongrass

Mark’s Work Wearhouse (22722 Lougheed Hwy) - $50 to Maple Ridge Lighting 

Kitchen on the Ridge (22375 Lougheed Hwy) - $50 to Lava Dining & Lounge
