Passport to Prizes Campaign – We Need YOU!
Our Holiday Passport to Prizes campaign is only successful when our downtown businesses participate. Right now, we need as many of you as possible.
This is our biggest push of the season to bring shoppers downtown, and we don’t want anyone to miss out. The more businesses involved, the more reasons shoppers have to stay, stroll, sip, shop… and spend.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a high-traffic holiday campaign without doing the heavy lifting, this is your moment.
We’ve created four different ways for you to get involved:
Become a prize sponsor.
Donate items for swag bags.
Host a passport card stamp.
Become a stop during our Stroll, Sip & Shop events.

Become a Prize Sponsor! Huge Exposure. Tiny Cost.
Help us create unforgettable holiday excitement by sponsoring one of our Passport to Prizes rewards. We have three levels available — Gold ($2,000), Silver ($1,000), and Bronze ($500) and your prize contribution can be cash, gift cards, or products.
Your sponsorship puts your business front and center across various pieces of our marketing campaign: social media, posters, web features, videos, event signage, and more.
This is one of the most affordable ways to advertise AND drive real foot traffic into your business. We need prize sponsors to make this campaign shine. Don’t wait, spots are limited.
We Need Swag — Lots of It.
We’re creating 100 Downtown Holiday Swag Bags to hand out during our campaign events, and we want your business included. You can donate anything that promotes your business: branded swag, small products, samples, vouchers, or gift cards.
You can submit a minimum of 20 items, and up to 100 if you’d like to be included in every single bag.
This is an incredibly easy way to get into shoppers’ hands literally.Â
Become a Stroll, Sip & Shop Highlight Stop!
We are looking for businesses to be part of our festive Stroll, Sip & Shop evenings. Our events will include a guided shopping experience designed to bring people directly through your doors. To help your business stand out, we ask each stop to offer something fun and enticing: a sip, snack, promo, or special incentive.
To accommodate all participating businesses, we are running two Stroll, Sip & Shop events, each with two route zones:
Event time: 4pm - 7pm
November 28th – 224th South - (businesses around Lougheed Hwy)
November 28th – 224th North- (businesses around Dewdney Trunk Rd)
December 12th – 228th North - (businesses around Dewdney Trunk Rd)
December 12th – Brickwater Village & ValleyFair Mall
These events are designed to create energy, excitement, and foot traffic. We need YOU to participate. Spots are limited, and routes are being finalized soon.
Become a Passport to Prizes Card Host
We want as many downtown businesses as possible to be part of the Passport to Prizes program. As a Card Host, you will receive passports and stamps to give to customers, while encouraging them to visit your store and make a purchase to earn a stamp.
This is a simple, low-effort way to drive foot traffic and increase sales during the busiest shopping season of the year.
