Our Neighbourhood Scavenger Hunt/Phrase Unscramble

The TOURISM CHALLENGE is an annual opportunity to re-educate individuals that work in the tourism industry and enjoy the outstanding attractions, world class hotels and explore the amazing neighbourhoods and communities that our region has to offer, so that we are ready to welcome our guests and SHARE our passion and knowledge.

Below is our Day Out challenge where you will walk downtown Maple Ridge, check out some amazing businesses and collect words along the way.  Once you have all 5 words put them in the correct order, share it with our final stop and correct answers will receive 3 stamps.

Welcome to the Downtown Word Scavenger Hunt Challenge!

Your mission: explore downtown, support local, and uncover a 5-word phrase—one word at a time!

Here’s how to play:

  1. Visit 5 participating businesses and ask for the secret word. Head inside each shop and speak to a staff member and they will share one special word just for this hunt! Feel free to check out their amazing array of products or enjoy a sampling.

  2. Submit your phrase at The ACT Art Centre.
