Our participating businesses are your Passport to Prizes Card Hosts. Stop by to pick up a (new) Passport, collect stamps with every purchase, and drop off your completed card for a chance to win one of our 6 Grand Prizes and all the Early Bird Prizes.

Contest Rules & Regulations

Rules & Regulations

1.) With each $10.00 spent at participating Downtown Maple Ridge businesses between November 28th to December 12th, 2025, shoppers receive one stamp in their passport.  Up to a max of one full card for purchases over $160.00.

2.) Stamps must all be the same and in the proper spaces to qualify as complete.

3.) Once passport is filled with stamps and contact information has been completed, drop off at the Draw Box locations in Centre Court at Haney Place Mall or Valleyfair Mall and participating stores before closing December 12^th, 2025. A list of participating businesses can be found on our website @ downtownmapleridge.ca

4.) Double stamping occurs at our Shop, Sip and Stroll events on Nov.28^th & Dec. 12 between 4-7pm.

5.) Only (1) prize will be awarded per person, at the Early Bird draws Dec. 6^th and (1) prize awarded per person at the Grand Prize Draws Dec. 15^th.  Prizes are accepted as awarded, no exceptions or exchanges.

6.) There is no limit to the number of passport entries. Shop, stamp and enter as often as you like!

7.) Alcohol and gaming/lottery purchases are not eligible for stamps on the passport.

8.) Contestants must be 19 years or older to participate.

9.) DMRBIA employees, Board members and participating stores are ineligible to enter.

10.) The Early Bird Draws will be held in Memorial Peace Park on Dec. 6^th at 7pm. To be eligible for the draw, entries from participating stores will be collected from all draw boxes on Dec. 4^th end of business day.  Any entries after Dec. 4^th end of business will only be eligible for the Early Bird Draws if brought to the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Booth at the Christmas Market Dec. 6^th from 4-7pm.  Once the winners have been drawn and notified, all entries will be re-entered into the draw boxes to be included in the Grand Prize Draws on Dec. 15^th, 2025, between 12 – 2pm.  Winners will be notified by phone and instructed on how to collect their prize.  One prize per person per draw.  Prizes are accepted as awarded, no exceptions or exchanges. 

11.) For a no purchase necessary entry, fill out an entry form on the back of a blank passport and place in the Draw box at one of their locations.

12.) Each Grand Prize will be Drawn by the Prize Sponsor for that prize on Dec. 15^th 2025 between 12:00 and 2:00 pm.  All entries will be collected from the draw box locations after 7pm Dec. 12^th and before Noon Dec. 15^th .  Winners will be notified by phone and instructed on how to collect their prize. One prize per person per draw.  Prizes are accepted as awarded, no exceptions or exchanges.  

CONSENT TO PERSONAL INFORMATION USE AND DISCLOSURE:

By participating in the Contest, entrants consent to Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association's collection, use and disclosure of the personal information provided in contest entries for the administration of the Contests. In addition all winners will consent for the use of their names, images and video works from the Passport to Prizes promotion 2025 to be utilized by the DMRBIA at any given time for advertising purposes.

OTHER RULES:

Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association and its representatives are not responsible or liable, jointly or severally, for any of the following:

erroneous, damaged, destroyed, lost, late, incomplete, illegible, incorrectly addressed or misdirected entries, regardless of the cause;

failure for any reason whatsoever of selected entrants to receive a prize notification;

changes in entrants’ telephone or email after entries are submitted;

computer, online, telephone, communication, or technical malfunctions or errors that may occur, regardless of the cause; or

damage or loss, including any loss of use, loss of production, loss of profits (anticipated or otherwise), loss of markets, economic loss, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort or under any other theory of law or equity, arising from, connected with, or relating to the Contest, or the submission of entries to the Contest, or participation in the Contest, or the prize, and regardless of the cause or any negligence by any of Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association, or any person or entity for whom any of them are responsible, and notwithstanding that any of those entities or persons may have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage being incurred. If for any reason Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association determines, at its sole discretion, that the Contest is not capable of being conducted as intended by Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association for any reason whatsoever, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cause that corrupts or interferes with the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contests, Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association may in its sole discretion disqualify any entrant responsible for such misconduct and withdraw, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend all or any part of the Contests by publishing a notice on the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association website. Decisions by or selection of Contest winners by representatives of Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association regarding any and all aspects of the Contest are final and binding on all entrants.

The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and are void where prohibited by law. If any provision of these Rules is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

The names of the potential Contest winner may be obtained by entrants completing the relevant Sign Up / Entry Form at the contest location.

Participation in the Contests constitutes acceptance and agreement to these Rules.
