What a year for Revive & Shine!
In partnership with the City of Maple Ridge, the Downtown Maple Ridge BIA hosted two Revive & Shine Community Cleanup events this year, one in April and another in September. More than 150 incredible volunteers came out to help collect an amazing 946 pounds of garbage for the year from the streets and alleyways of Downtown Maple Ridge.
We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, picked up a picker, filled a garbage bag and helped make our downtown cleaner, brighter and more welcoming. Revive & Shine is truly a community effort, and we could not do it without the people who continue to show up and care about where we live, work and visit.
A huge thank you also goes to our food sponsors who have helped fuel our volunteers throughout the year: Pappa Leo’s Pizza and Bella Nonna’s in April, and Papa Johns Pizza and Hansel & Gretel Bakery in September. We appreciate your support!
We’ll be back in 2027 with two more Revive & Shine Community Cleanup events, one in April to coincide with Earth Day and another in September before the weather changes.
Let’s All Do Our Part
Our cleanup events make a big difference, but keeping Downtown Maple Ridge clean is something we can all help with every day. Please think before you toss! Put your garbage in a bin or take it home with you instead of leaving it on the street or throwing it out the window. Every little effort adds up and helps keep our downtown clean, welcoming and vibrant.
Thank you, Maple Ridge, for showing up for our downtown. We can’t wait to Revive & Shine with you again in 2027!
