"Home for ALL"

This Mural is part of a collaborative series funded by the City of Maple Ridge, bringing mural artists and local youth together to foster creativity and inspire connections to arts and culture.

The Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association facilitated artist Carly Bouwman in working with students from Samuel Robertson Technical Secondary on a mural inspired by the species at risk in our region.

Students contributed their drawings and the artist incorporated them into the final mural design.

Take a moment to pause, pose and identify these local endangered species: Great Blue Heron, Western Painted Turtle, Western Bumble Bee, White Sturgeon, Streambank Lupine, Oregon Spotted Frog, Saffron-winged Meadowhawk (Dragonfly), Henderson's Checkered Mallow, Marbled Murrelet, Oregon Forest Snail, Phantom Orchid, Barn Owl, Grizzly Bear, Tall Bugbane.
