Downtown Businesses Annual Food Drive to Support Friends in Need Food Bank

September 28th to October 31st

Last year, our downtown community came together to collect an incredible 1,900 pounds of food for Friends in Need Food Bank, helping provide the equivalent of approximately 1,900 meals for people in need right here in our community. This year, we’re hoping to make an even bigger difference, and we need your help! With rising food costs, more families, seniors and individuals are turning to food banks for support.

From Monday, September 28 to Saturday, October 31, you can help make a difference by dropping off nonperishable food donations at any of our participating downtown businesses.

Whether you're shopping downtown or simply have a few extra items in your pantry, every donation counts. Together, we can help put more food on local tables and remind our neighbours that they are not alone. Every can, every box and every contribution makes a difference.
